A pioneer of coworking in Bulgaria, betahaus Sofia, and GTC Bulgaria, one of the leading commercial real estate developers in Central and Eastern Europe and part of the GTC Group, announced a strategic partnership last year.
This partnership enabled betahaus to expand and develop a new business line, providing flexible workspaces in class A office buildings for larger companies at flexible terms.
After successfully validating the shared workspace model in class A office buildings, betahaus opened its fourth location in May. The new location is in Sofia Tower II, a newly built class A office building located above the Mall of Sofia, owned by GTC Bulgaria.
Already, the building has been nominated for the SEE Real Estate Awards in the “Office Project of the Year” category. The first tenants of Sofia Tower II are Dreamshot, Gameloft, and Biersdorf.
betahaus occupies two floors with a total area of 1,500 square meters, equipped with the highest office standards and managed with the latest IT infrastructure, access control, and security solutions. The space includes reception, flexible workspaces, conference rooms, phone booths, fully furnished offices, equipped kitchens, break and meeting areas, and more.
In November of last year, betahaus added its third location to the current Shipka and Slaveykov in Sofia. It covers an entire floor in Advance Business Center (ABC), which is owned by GTC Bulgaria.
The Advance Business Center buildings are situated in one of the leading business areas in the city, next to Business Park metro station. The companies currently working at betahaus ABC include KBC Global Services, Quickbase, Rambus, PDS Group, Zayo Group, and Infinigods.
“betahaus has proven to be a reliable, successful partner. Their space in our building ABC 1 is reaching the milestones faster than projected, and I believe they will do the same downtown in Sofia Tower 2. We see that there is a strong demand for this product, as our tenants grow, we are flexible for offer them the solutions they need. This is a very important service component for us and we are happy to cooperate with betahaus,” said Ziv Gigi, Managing Director of GTC Bulgaria.
betahaus Sofia is the pioneer of shared workspaces in Bulgaria. It is part of one of a coworking network in Europe with branches in Berlin, Barcelona and Hamburg. For 10 years since its establishment, betahaus has successfully validated the coworking model, doubling its spaces, from which some of the most successful Bulgarian companies have started.
