(TORONTO, CA) – Kuala Lumpur, 29 July 2021 Common Ground, Malaysia’s leading coworking brand, has won two awards in recognition of its modern workspaces, outstanding customer service and innovative proprietary app, which cultivates a vibrant community:

  • Best Coworking Spaces Provider 2021 – Malaysia in the South-East Asia Business Awards 2021, presented by APAC Insider in June 2021; and

Common Ground was honoured among top innovative businesses in Malaysia and around Asia for demonstrating excellence in innovation, business sustainability, consistency, and performance.

“We are honoured to be recognised by APAC Insider and Fenice Media, and even more thankful to our Common Ground community and partners for the support and dedication throughout this challenging year,” said Yvonne Lee, Country Head, Common Ground Malaysia.

“With economic uncertainty in the mid-term ahead of us and as companies change the ways they are approaching workspaces, we hope to support their business goals when they ‘re-enter’ with cost-saving strategies, flexible terms, business continuity programs, and be their partner in fostering high-performing teams,” said Lee.

Flexing Innovation

These awards recognize Common Ground’s leadership in providing excellent customer service and innovative solutions to help businesses be agile, efficient, and save valuable resources.

As a result of the new demand for more business flexibility, Common Ground launched the Corporate Flex Solutions in February, providing on-demand, pay-as-you-use workspaces, for how, when, and where businesses need it.

Members have access to any Common Ground venues to work, hold meetings, or print and photocopy documents anytime it is needed and only pay for what they use and for as low as RM2.50 per half hourly blocks.

“It is a tough time for everyone. But we stay focused to deliver exceptional service and more value to our members and businesses. We also do our best to take advantage of our own Common Ground app and technology to help our members stay productive,” says Lee.

While the role of the office has been challenged, the year of remote working and working from home has highlighted a few key benefits of flexible offices like Common Ground.

It has reinforced the need for an office as a communal place to enable collaboration, bolster innovation, grow company culture, and nurture top talents. Lee said: “This is why we focus on building a technology-enabled, experiential workplace that is designed for collaborative vibrancy.”
