Meet The Founder: Robin Cuervo of parnetWORK

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Robin Cuervo is a plastic artist and digital media designer who has worked in various advertising agencies before officially becoming the partner, founder, and director of Parnet & Parnet in 2018. The company was established with the vision of creating and promoting ideas from creative professionals, startups, freelancers, and investors to form an innovative culture. Through Parnet & Parnet, the idea for parnetWORK was born, which has become a very special place for Robin and all of the members who work in this unique coworking space. How did you discover coworking?

Living in NYC, I needed a place to work and this was my best option to save money and work at the same time.

How would you describe the community at parnetWORK?

It’s a very modern, happy, friendly community with different professions and styles. They all fit very well into our parnetWORK culture.

What other unique elements make your coworking space stand out from all the rest??

The architectural design of each space is truly unique, with high ceilings, natural lighting, and special decorations. The office is made especially to work, relax, and inspire our users, with several areas full of nature and good vibes.

Do you host any special member events to bring the community together?

We celebrate some special dates, meetings to welcome new users, birthdays, among others. We are open to organizing different activities so that all our coworkers get to know each other and share ideas.

What is your favorite thing about coworking?

Being able to share and get to know in one space, different cultures, professions, and styles.

What is the most challenging part of operating a coworking space?

The most difficult part of operating a coworking is that all our users feel satisfied with each of the services we offer them, that they feel comfortable and welcome in each of our spaces.

Do you have any advice for someone wanting to start a coworking space?

It is important that before starting a coworking space, the design must be spacious, bright, and comfortable. These characteristics cannot be improvised.

How would you like people to remember your coworking space?

A specially designed place that’s homely and full of good energy.
