How did you discover coworking?

Coworking discovered me!  I was recruited out of college by a suburban provider who provided office space and administrative support.

Which space do you currently manage? How long have you been the community manager there?

I oversee Servcorp Boston at One International Place and operate as Sales Lead for the East Coast Region.  I’ve been with Servcorp for over 9 years.

What is your favorite part of coworking?

The people! Being a part of my client’s journeys, whether they are starting a new venture or seasoned firms operating a head office; I get a chance to create custom solutions to meet their needs and become a trusted partner in the success of their business operations. I also train and mentor team members and colleagues within Servcorp to help them develop and share my passion for the business.

What is the most challenging part of operating a coworking space?

Coworking has become a very crowded marketplace over the past few years. There is a solution for every stage of business and budget. Differentiating oneself in the marketplace requires constant innovation and the ability to personally connect within the local business community.

Do you have any advice for someone wanting to start a coworking space?

Don’t try to copy your competition — blaze your own path by providing services your clients cannot live without and a unique experience that helps their business to succeed.
