Too Many Price Plans
Today’s insight is simple. How many price plans do you offer for members?
The magic number is three. Three different plans for very different needs.
1. Open Space
2. Reserved Desk
You don’t have to pick these three, but you need to pick three. Don’t get more complicated than that. If you’re thinking about adding another plan, think about which of these you’d give up to put it there.
The reason is that adding more creates indecisiveness among your prospects. How many prospects are you losing because they simply can’t make a decision?
Providing more choices may seem like you’re opening yourself up to more people by solving more problems, but in fact you’re turning off people who subconsciously are concluding that you’re too scattered, or that simply get stressed out by the multitude of options.
