Leading coworking provider Work.Life has opened its 13th and largest site to date, located on St. Cross Street in Farringdon. The new location follows the successful launch of Work.Life Borough in July 2024, with both sites adding over 54,000 sq. ft. to the company’s portfolio in the past year.
The new 32,000 sq. ft. workspace, which is part of the Johnson Estate in Farringdon, spans seven floors and offers an array of features, including over 40 private offices and a roof terrace. New to the group, the space also houses a podcast studio and screening room, along with a dedicated event space – additions designed to support the evolving needs of businesses and entrepreneurs seeking more than just desk space.
As with Work.Life’s existing sites, the new Farringdon site has been designed to foster a vibrant coworking community, with careful attention to detail incorporated to create a creative, collaborative and professional atmosphere; from multiple breakout areas throughout to the roof terrace, which provides ample space for social events, networking or simply taking a break.
Meanwhile, the interior features a color palette inspired by gemstones – a nod to the historic heart of the jewelry trade in which Work.Life is closely located, Hatton Garden. The furniture throughout the space is a well-curated selection of modern Scandinavian designs with an emphasis on comfort and functionality.
As part of Work.Life’s growing portfolio across London, Reading and Manchester, St. Cross Street joins the group’s existing location in Farringdon, which has been a major draw for companies across the creative, tech, and professional services sectors. The decision to expand in the neighborhood reflects rising demand for flexible workspaces in London’s most connected areas. With a strong local network of small businesses, startups and established companies, the new space is perfectly positioned to support Farringdon’s dynamic business community.

This summer, Work.Life will also add another location to its healthy portfolio with the opening of a new space on Clerkenwell Green.
